Binduk Operation will Be Held in East Jakarta

Jakarta is predicted will be crowded by newcomers from various regions. Therefore, Jakarta Provincial Government will hold Binduk Operation in the middle of August.

The operation is purposed to anticipate newcomers who have no population documents from their origins.

Head of East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department Ahmad Fauzi stated, the operation is conducted to realize orderly administration of population for newcomers.

City to Conduct Binduk Operation on D+21

"The citizens may come to Jakarta, but they should obey rules for living in Jakarta," he stated, Wednesday (7/22).

His side, he said, will hold socialization to the newcomers about the requirements living in Jakarta.

"We will socialize Mr. Governor's instruction that regionals may come to Jakarta providing that have permanent settlement and job. This is guidance operation, not judicial," he explained.

Eventually in the operation, his side will record certificate from newcomers who will stay in Jakarta. "If needed we will help to process ID Card for those who want to be Jakartans," he told.

However, he cannot reveal yet which regions that will be operation target. "About the location, it is still need to be discussed," he disclosed.
