Violating Traffic Rules, 75 Vehicles Netted

As much as 75 vehicles were netted during sterilization of Transjakarta bus lane operation on Jalan Gunung Sahari, Senen, Central Jakarta. Officers must tow some vehicles which the documents were incomplete.

No more mercy, harsh sanction will be imposed to offender

The operation started at 6.30 AM led by Deputy of Jakarta Transportation Department, Pargaulan Butar Butar. He deployed his ranks to assist the operation.

“The operation of 8 public transportation were stopped for a while and instantly grounded to Rawa Buaya, West Jakarta and Pulogebang, East Jakarta. One of them is Kopaja P20 AC serving Senen-Lebak Bulus, it  was because they couldn’t show us the document. They were supposed to be order compared than other public transportation due to they already integrated with Transjakarta bus,” he uttered.

Violating Traffic Rules, 304 Motorcycles Ticketed

Here are the details of the vehicles,  2 private vehicle were towed, 40 motorcycles and 25 cars were ticketed.

According to him, mostly grounded vehicles are having expired documents. Starting from road-worthiness test (KIR), business permit (SIU) and other documents. “The warning given for many times, but they neglect it. No more mercy, harsh sanction will be imposed to offender,” he expressed.

Separately, Jejen (35) driver of public minivan M01 plate number B 2047 WT admitted that he did not know the document was expired. "The owner of this vehicle supposedly process the license," he pleaded.
