1,015 Vehicles Netted Due to Illegal Parking

Public awareness to park their vehicles in the right place is still very low. Evidently, along February 2015, there were 1,105 vehicles netted by Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-department due to illegal parking.   

Throughout February, as many as 1,105 vehicles were netted. This number is slightly reduced from January with 1,305 vehicles

Of the 1,105 netted vehicles, 380 out of them were ticketed, 434 motorcycles and 81 cars' tire valves removed, 92 cars towed, 22 motorcycles seized and 6 vehicles prohibited to operate.

"Throughout February, as many as 1,105 vehicles were netted. This number is slightly reduced from January with 1,305 vehicles," told Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department Head, Muslim, Tuesday (3/3).

Muslim disclosed, the vehicles netted from some areas as Tanah Abang, Roxy, and Senen. Moreover, his side will routinely hold the raid of illegal parking twice in a day. "We will hold the raid twice in a day," he uttered.
