123 Residents Controlled in Binduk Operation

Central Jakarta Administration held a population operation (Binduk) at RW 11, Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village, Cempaka Putih Sub-district. As much as 123 people were netted due to have no local ID card or temporary domicile letter.

"We collected 123 people, 72 women and 51 men," said Warisih, Central Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Population and Civil Registration, Wednesday (8/19).

According to her, the operation did not apply sanction since the operation target is coaching only.

Binduk Intensified Until December

"It is hoped the operation could increase their awareness to propose ID card or related document of population," she added.

Those netted people were finally asked to propose temporary domicile letter in Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village office. The requirements are have origin ID and Family card, have place to stay and proved with guarantor's ID and Family card, and letter from local RT/RW.

About 25 Satpol PP personnel, local sub-dept. of population and civil registration, army, and police personnel were deployed during the operation.

"The operation will be held continually," she continued.
