Previously, Tangerang Regent, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, explained the water supply to Jakarta will be stopped since the Cisadane water level decreases. The local residents also need water supply. The condition is worsened with the loss of 700 liter per second as the gate is leak.
"We must put our resident (Tangerang) in front," Zaki said.
At this time, Jakarta Provincial Government buys water to Tangerang PDAM as much as 2,800 liter per second through Serpong water installation and 75 liter per second through Cikokol water installation. This condition will impact Warung Gantung and surrounding West Jakarta.
