E. Jakarta KPKP Monitored Chicken Traders in Traditional Markets

East Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department (KPKP) keeps monitoring the activities of chicken traders over 31 traditional markets. The operation market will be done if until Thursday (8/20) tomorrow the traders still hold strike.

There is only one market out of 31 traditional markets still holding strike

“We’ll see, if it needed we’ll conduct market operation,” said Head of East Jakarta Marine, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-Department, Bayu Sri Hastuti, Wednesday (8/19).

Hastuti stated that mostly the traders have back to trade again. "There is only one market out of 31 traditional markets still holding strike," she added.

Broiler Chicken Traders in E. Jakarta Still Trading Normally

The only one market is Kramat Jati. Unluckily, the reason is  remain unclear. "It is hoped they will go back to trade tomorrow," she hoped.

Jupri (32) one of chicken traders in Pasar Kramat Jati stated that since Monday (8/19) until now he still strike out. The effort is as a form of protest to the supplier due to they sell with high prices, so traders can not make any profit. "We still compact to do strike action, but may be tomorrow everything will be back to normal," he disclosed.
