Illegal Parking Along Jalan Mangga Dua Dalam Back to Rampant

Due to the rampant of illegal parking, makes Jalan Mangga Dua Dalam, Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Sawah Besar Sub-District, Central Jakarta, congested.

The road access only has 2 lanes, one is used as parking lot then makes the traffic disrupted and totally congested

"The road access only has 2 lanes, one is used as parking lot then makes the traffic distrupted and totally congested especially at busy hours," said Benny (23), one of riders, Monday (8/24).

He hopes, the related agency would find a solution thus those vehicles will not park illegally on the road. Moreover, there are many empty parking lots in the shophouse and the shopping building. "Whereas, there are many empty parking lots inside, there should be officer arranging thus the road would be free from illegal parking," he expressed.

Illegal Parking Beside South Jakarta Police Headquarters Closed Down

Based on Beritajakarta.com observation, the road access which is getting narrow, makes long traffic congestion from Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta towards Jalan Mangga Dua Raya.

Related to this, Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village Head, Aris Susanto claimed, his party has repeatedly appealed riders not to park there, but they ignore it with excuse, want to access the location faster.

"Eventually, we will send a letter to Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department to hold a raid again. For now, we anticipate it by putting flower pots there thus motorcycles cannot park," he disclosed.
