Online Public Transport Warned to Immediately Meet Requirement

The all application-based public transport companies are warned to fulfill the requirement and permit as public transport in Jakarta.

Besides, they should make a statement form that saying able to have five motor vehicles for companies in Java

Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Andri Yansyah explains it is in accordance with Transportation Ministry Decision No.35/2003 on Implementation of Public Transportation. Some requirements are every company should have tax card (NPWP), Incorporation Deed, Domicile Letter, and business place license (SITU).

"Besides, they should make a statement form that saying able to have five motor vehicles for companies in Java, and another letter to have vehicle warehouse facility," he described.

Yansyah stressed public transport service without permit will be sanctioned.

He went on the say that the Land Transportation Owner (Organda) sent recommendation to Ministry of Communication and Information to block such application.

"Organda wants the online public transport to be blocked," told Andri
