“ There are 600 tax delinquents in Jakarta that will be summoned by High Attorney ,” told Agus Bambang Setyowidodo, Head of Jakarta Tax Service, after tax collecting week in South Jakarta Mayor office, Tuesday (8/25).

Based on his latest data, there are 733 thousand tax payers have arrears of Land Tax and Village and Urban Building (PBB-P2). “It could reach Rp 1.3 trillion,” he said.

S. Jakarta Pursues Potential Taxpayer

Moreover, the potential of all tax arrears in Jakarta could reach Rp 44.9 trillion. “We could reach 80-90 percent of tax revenue, but we must also pursue the arrears,” he uttered.

South Jakarta Tax Service Sub-Department, Haeril Nurhamzah said, his side will intensify socialization for all taxpayers to pay their PBB-P2. “This collecting week is aimed to reach optimum revenue from PBB,” he uttered.
