After Betawi Culture Preservation Bylaw authorized, some of government offices still not install Betawi unique ornamental although the Jakarta Provincial Government have necessitated it.

Later, we will add the ornamental and install it for offices that have not been installed

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com observation on Tuesday (8/25). Some offices are Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Johar Baru Sub-district, Harapan Mulia Urban Village, Kemayoran Sub-district, and Karang Anyar Urban Village office, Kecamatan Sawah Besar.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede claimed that some offices had install the ornamental before Bylaw authorized. The ornamental which usually installed are gigi balang plang and langkan wood for fence.

"Later, we will add the ornamental and install it for offices that have not been installed," told Pardede.

Moreover, Pardede's side will also give installation instruction for private offices. "We will inform them orally or in writing," he told.

He also claimed did not know know about the office which has install the ornamental and not. "We hope all elements could support the bylaw in order to preserve Betawi culture," he uttered.
