A Pump Damaged in DI Panjaitan Pump House

1 out of 4 pump units in DI Panjaitan Pump House northern area is damage.

Damage occurred because the pump panel cable was accidentally burned by a janitor while burning trash

The 4 pumps divided into 2 areas, 2 units in the northern direction of Bekasi to Kampung Melayu, and 2 more in the southern opposite direction.

"Damage occurred because the pump panel cable was accidentally burned by a janitor while burning trash," told Nurfiansyah, Person in Charge of DI Panjaitan Pump House, Wednesday (8/26).

He added, the damage has occurred before he and other operators worked at the pump house.

"The damage has been occurred before March. We are all new operators, so we don't really understand the detail," he uttered.

According to him, East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department had visited the location a month ago. "It has been reported to our office, and has been controlled by mechanic a month ago, but there is no clarity about repair," he said.
