Relaying on Beritajakarta.com observation, there are two units of big pump which have a capacity of 5,000 liter/second.

Sigit (33), the pump house operator acknowledged that he often maintain the stationer pump routinely. In this dry season, the pump machine usually heat up at least once in two days. “To make it ready if needed,” he uttered, Tuesday (8/25).

According to him, the problems faced by many suction pumps with large capacity is trash in the water. 

“Fortunately, there is towing trash machine and its net, so trash won’t stuck into sunction pump,” he said.

The pump house is equipped with generator by 2,000 kilowatt (KW) power. “Just in case of power outages, we still have huge power generator,” he expressed.

In order to add suction ability,  there are 2 mobile pumps with the capacity of 200 liter/second. “This machine is usually used at RW 10 and guided by two operators in their shift duty,” he disclosed.
