Hundreds of Tourists Deceived by Travel Agent in Kali Adem

Hundreds of passenger candidates who are going to Pari Islands, North Seribu Island Sub-District, were displaced in Kali Adem Port, Muara Angke, North Jakarta. They were ignored by irresponsible travel agent. 

The travel agent now disappear, we can't contact him. We just knew that the ticket now cannot be bought here

As experienced by Donny (28), one of the victims said he and other groups were deceived by TFIW travel agent as they have booked and paid deposit by Rp 200,000-Rp 400,000/person for Pari Island tour package. 

Overload, Passengers of Taxi Boat Asked to Get Off

"We arrived in the morning and got into a boat route Pari Island, but it got overloaded thus 45 persons of our group asked to get off, and finally we could not get the boat," he told. 

Along with the other victims, he only waited the policy of Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-Department to find them another boat, with consequence buying new tickets. 

"The travel agent is now disappear, we can't contact him. We just knew that the ticket now cannot be bought here," he complained. 

Responding on this matter, Head of Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-Department Marihot Marulitua Sirait told his sub-department has tried to find taxi boat for transporting all displaced passengers. 

"We has tried and then Radja boat will transport passengers with capacity of 140 persons. Be careful towards such travel agent," he asserted.
