The street vendors selling along Love Bridge (Jembatan Cinta), Tidung Island Urban Village, South Seribu Islands Sub-District, will be relocated.
Currently they are using road to open their stall thus disturbing tourists coming for vacation
Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Masud Hamid stated, their existence has decreased the beauty of the bridge, that become mainstay of the island.
1,000 Street Vendors will Be Relocated to Kemayoran"We had done socialization for a long time thus the street vendors willing to be relocated," he stated, Monday (8/31).
He explained, his party has provided the relocation place with width 5x12 square meters that currently being cleaned by Urban Village's PPSU officers.
"Currently they are using road to open their stall thus disturbing tourists coming for vacation. Eventually, we will relocate them to the relocation place provided," he explained.
Bicycle parking area will also be placed in safer special location.
"All will be re-arranged, not only street vendors but also bicycles parking lot that will be moved beside South Seribu Island Police Station," he disclosed.
