421 Vehicles in East Jakarta Ticketed Throughout August

As many as 421 public and goods public transports in East Jakarta were ticketed by East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department. The number was the recapitulation result of raid throughout August. 

Those vehicles were ticketed due to waiting for passengers in a forbidden place, violating trajectory, and incomplete documents

Those ticketed vehicles are 29 units of AKAP buses, 32 medium-sized buses, 178 small-sized buses, 69 taxies and 29 bajajs. 

"Those vehicles were ticketed due to waiting for passengers in a forbidden place, violating trajectory, and incomplete documents," said Head of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Bernard Oktavianus Pasaribu, Tuesday (9/1). 

Violating Traffic Rules, 304 Motorcycles Ticketed

Besides that, there were 3 mini buses that have expired vehicle test certificate (KIR). As a result, they are prohibited to operate. 

"Those mini buses have expired KIR certificate. Due to not feasible to operate, those can harm the passengers. Even there are no documents, they will surely be stopped the operation," he asserted.
