16 Illegal Buildings in Pejagalan Demolished

As many as 16 illegal buildings and hanging toilets in Pejagalan Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, demolished by Satpol PP officers. The demolishment also got assistance from Infrastructure and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers. 

Those illegal buildings are demolished due to standing on water channel and the hanging toilets also became eyesore

"Those illegal buildings are demolished due to standing on water channel and the hanging toilets also became eyesore," said Head of Pejagalan Urban Village, Maskur, Wednesday (9/2). 

Of the 16 buildings demolished, he details, 8 of them were standing on channel located at Jalan Jembatan Gambang, used as food and drink stall in RT 02, RW 08 and 8 hanging toilets along Baja River, RT 06 and 07, RW 16. 

Illegal Buildings Along Jalan Kayu Mas Selatan Complained

Before being demolished, he uttered, socialization was already conducted to the building owners, which aims to smoothen the demolishment.
