Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama provided 101 Toyota Altis official cars for members of Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) period 2014-2019. As a matter of fact, these cars were been parked in the area of DPRD building.

According to Heru Budi Hartono, Head of Jakarta Financial and Asset Management Board (BPKAD), Toyota Altis car purchase was based on Governor’s review who proposed its procurement in early 2015.

Hartono stated that such purchase is through leasing system. “The cars are local asset. If the legislative member's tenure is over, they have to return the car,” he stressed, Thursday (9/3).

He disclosed it was purchased through e-catalogue where price per unit can be checked on the website: Government Procurement of Goods and Services Agency (LKPP).

“You can check its unit price on the website,” he disclosed.
