As many as 5 sedan cars of Toyota Camry Hybrid brand have arrived at Jakarta City Council (DPRD) building on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta. The cars are provided to service the city council leader activity.

This car has come since a week ago. The service period is for five years, after the service ends , it will be auctioned by BPKD

The Rp 698 million cars are ready to distribute to Jakarta City Council Head, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi and his vices as Muhammad Taufik, Abraham Lunggana, Triwicaksana, and Ferrial Sofyan.

The five cars lined up at the parking lot at the City Council building basement. All official cars are not yet equipped by police number. Viewed from the cars condition, it can be sure the vehicles are new, because the interiors such as seats and steering still wrapped in plastic.

Mangara Pardede, Jakarta Council Secretary justified, the five official cars for the council leader has arrived at Jakarta City council parking lot. But the cars still yet operated because wait the documents.

"All leaders will get Toyota Camry Hybrid. We will give the cars after vehicle ownership documents (STNK) has been processed by Financial Management Body (BPKD) of Jakarta," he said, Monday (12/22).

Pardede explained, the official car type for the city council leader is directly chosen by Jakarta Provincial Government in accordance with the regulations. The vehicles are only valid for the five years lifetime, after the service over the vehicle auction will be held under the BPKD responsibility.

"This car has come since a week ago. The service period is for five years, after the service ends, it will be auctioned by BPKD," he explained.

As reported, a total of 106 members of Jakarta Representatives (DPRD) period 2014-2019 who were inaugurated on Monday (8/25) will receive the official car. For the chairman and deputy will get a Toyota Camry Hybrid. Meanwhile, for the other members will receive the Toyota Corolla Altis. All vehicles were purchased using the Jakarta City Budget (APBD).
