East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana reminded residents to keep aware of fire threat, specifically for residents living in densely populated area.

He conveyed that fire could grow rapidly in this dry season and trigerring fire.

"If you forced to burn your trash, make sure its flames completely extinguished," he said after attended Independence Day event in Jatinegara Kaum Urban Village, Pulogadung, Friday (9/4) night.

He also asked parents to take important role to monitor children activity and prohibit them playing fire as concerning many fire incident happened due to children.

"Lesson learned in Kebon Manggis fire case. It happened due to children playing fire in this dry season and it was so windy until fire burnt everything," he finished.
