100 Examiners of Sacrificial Animal Prepared in South Jakarta

South Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department is going to send 100 examiners who will examine sacrificial animals spread in 10 sub-districts

Starting on September 9-23, we will do the examination

"Starting on September 9-23, we will do the examination. Predictably, the sacrificial animal peddlers are already rampant in South Jakarta," said Head of South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department, Sri Hartati, Monday (9/7). 

According to Hartati, there would be special teams for sacrificial animal examination. They consist of sub-district staff, counselor, and assisted by veterinarian. 

110 Examiners Ready to Examine Sacrificial Animals

"There will be 100 examiners spread in 10 sub-districts. Each sub-district would get assistance by one veterinarian," she explained. 

She told, the examination is planned to be conducted towards health of animal sold. 

"If there is sick animal, it will be marked with cross on its body. If it is light, we will give medicines, but if it is quite severe it will be returned to the origins," she told. 

Hartati furthered, her party plans to install banners in some shelters read an appeal to citizens for buying sacrificial animals that have been examined. 

"We will also paste stickers on the checked shelters," she continued.
