2015 Flona Will Exhibit Orchid From Papua

Jakarta Dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries to hold Flora and Fauna Exhibition (Flona) 2015 in Lapangan Banteng for two weeks, September 18 to October 17. Orchid park will enliven the event also.

"Discount will be given every weekend. There could be Rp 10 thousand Orchid sold there," said Ratna Diah Kurniati, Jakarta Head Dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries, Wednesday (9/9).
She added that giving discount to several plants will attract the visitors. The event will also hold planting training, especially Orchid. "We'll invite academics to join," she added.
The 2nd Flona Expo Starts TodayThe local governments who have Orchid cultivation will be invited. "Papua's Orchid is being transported to Jakarta by 21 container trucks," she continued.
Other exhibitions such as fish, reptile, and so on are also presented. "We also have culinary and children toys," she disclosed.
