West Jakarta Vulnerable to ISPA

Head of West Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Dewi Satiasari stated 1 out of 10 the most vulnerable diseases in her area during dry season is acute respiratory infection (ISPA).

Of the 10 dangerous diseases, IS PA is the most vulnerable disease and has the most sufferers

She told, it was known from report result of some community health centers, clinics and hospital which are spread in West Jakarta.

"Based on the temporary data throughout January until June 2015, ISPA sufferers number reached 197,110 sufferers, high blood pressure 66.504 sufferers, muscle system 52.046 sufferers, skin infection 27.890 sufferers and diarrhea 26,011 sufferers," she explained, Thursday (9/10).

She added, the spread of the disease is allegedly caused by many dust and pollution from multi-stories building construction and road reparation.

"Of the 10 dangerous diseases, ISPA is the most vulnerable disease and has the most sufferers," she closed.
