Basuki Provides Cinema at City Hall Tourism

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama will provide special cinema. Later on,  cinema at City Hall will show national films that have not aired in public cinemas. The effort aims to enliven City Hall Tourism.

As planned, cinema will be placed at the Great Hall, with a sharp projector and sound system.

Basuki Officialy Opened City Hall Tourism

 

“I want the cinema plays on Saturday – Sunday with great sound system alike the real cinema, to enlive more city hall tour,” he said after opened City Hall Tourism, Saturday (9/12).

 

Acoording to him, several movies will be played at City Hall Cinema.

 

“The cinema will play at certain times,” he uttered.

 

Basuki considered, the national movie played in City Hall tourism is not only provide entertainment for citizen but also to give an opportunity to the young directors showing his short movie.

 

“You can promote your movie. For residents you can watch movie for free,” he asserted.

 

He added to select national movie will be played. Preferably the film with education or comedy genre, such as Benyamin S, Sukarno, General Sudirman and so on.

 

“We obviously not play hollywood movie. Indonesian only,” he finished.
