3 SKKT Buildings & 1 Halfway house Renovated

About three buildings of Sasana Krida Karang Taruna (SKKT) Urban Village and one halfway house in Central Jakarta, renovated.

The renovation process has touched 20 percent

Head Section of Social Welfare Development Implementation (PPKS) for Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Lusiana Pasaribu said the light renovation process has been ongoing since last August and is predicted to finish in the upcoming November.

“The renovation process has touched 20 percent,” she uttered, Tuesday (9/15).

5 Sub-Districts in S. Jakarta Renovated Totally

Those three buildings are located in Galur Urban Village, Bendungan Hilir, Harapan Mulia and Dapur Pusaka Cempaka Putih Halfway House. The damage is mostly on the roof, ceiling, porous wood and faded paint.

She furthered, the budget for the renovation is Rp 197-198 million per building and Rp 110 million for halfway house.

“We also renovate the halfway house because of poor condition and it is from citizen aspiration during 2014 Musrenbang,” she expressed.

Lusiana went on the say that Karang Taruna activity will temporarily be moved to local urban village. “We will use a multipurpose room in urban village office while waiting for renovation,” he finished.
