One-Way System Trial in Menteng Pulo Went Smoothly

The implementation of Limited One-Way System (SSTA) trial along Jalan Menteng Pulo until Menteng Dalam, Tuesday afternoon (9/15), went effective thus made the traffic condition smooth. 

The trial was because of citizens' complaint via Qlue app

Head of Traffic Section for South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Pangihutan Nahot stated the trial is conducted for 4 days. For the first trial went effectively smooth. 

"The trial was because of citizens' complaint via Qlue app," he explained, Tuesday (9/15).

He explained, the closing is conducted on 4 turns of Jalan Saharjo, that is turn on intersection of Jalan Menteng Pulo, Jalan Akabri, Jalan Subur Raya, and Jalan Rambutan.

"On busy hours, there are about 2,000-2,500 vehicles. Now, it's the same yet smooth," he explained. 

Furthermore, regarding to the system that is vehicles from Jalan Menteng Pulo 2 is one way from South to North. 

"From Jalan Pendawa is one way to Jalan Casablanca towards Jalan Menteng Pulo and one way to Casablanca or to Menteng Pulo Raya," he uttered.
