600 Citizens Participating in Culinary & Salon Training

Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department back to hold guidance and training for underprivileged citizens. As many as 600 citizens are participating in this event consisting of 400 citizens in culinary training and 200 in beauty salon training. The event was started since September 21-October 1.

Certainly, it is purposed to realize citizens participation in handling poverty, by managing Productive Economic Enterprise (UEP)

Head of Empowermen t Section for Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Maria Pasaribu stated, the event is purposed to improve life quality and social welfare for underprivileged citizens. That is by empowering potential and source of social welfare to handle poverty.

"Certainly, it is purposed to realize citizen participation in handling poverty, by managing Productive Economic Enterprise (UEP)," she expressed, Tuesday (9/22).

The event takes place in Muslimin Social House, Jalan Kramat Raya, Senen, Central Jakarta. The participants are trained how to make cakes, cookies, vegetables until side dishes, as well as how to cut hair, cream bath, facial, and rebounding.

As usually, after that, they will eventually be given equipments, as the training they got. It is hoped to be the beginning modal for realizing new job opportunities independently.
