Concrete Barrier Installed at Pasar Rebo U-Turn

Anticipating traffic violation, Movable Concrete Barrier (MCB)
installed at Pasar Rebo U-Turn, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Wednesday (9/23).
From the reports we have received, sometimes the bus embark and disembark the passengers on the road
The barrier is installed in 16 Pasar Rebo round access. It purposes to
prevent public minivan to stop instead of leads directly to the entrance of TB
Simatupang Toll towards Kampung Rambutan Terminal.
Head of East Jakarta Transportation, Bernard Octavian Pasaribu
said the barrier can minimize traffic congestion due to so many public minivan
stop after making a u-turn.
"From the reports we have received, sometimes the bus embark and disembark the passengers on the road. That’s what the barrier use for," he expressed.
Pasaribu acknowledged the effort just a trial. In case the traffic
engineering is not effective, barrier will be removed.
"We'll evaluate this," he disclosed.
