Turn of Jalan Pasar Rebo Complained

Residents and road users passing Jalan TB Simatupang, Ciracas, East Jakarta are complaining about the chaos of the road. Considering, besides becoming a place for bus passengers getting in and off, the turn is also occupied by many street vendors thus makes traffic congestion.

Irmansyah (35), a motorcyclist B 3443 ULF, stated if he passes the road from Kampung Rambutan Terminal, he is often trapped in the congestion. There are many public transportation waiting for passengers on Pasar Rebo turn and around it, causing the traffic hampered.

"They arbitrarily wait for passengers. Besides on the turn, they also pick up the passengers on the roadside," he complained, Tuesday (9/22).

Not only that, people back and forth on the road also cause vehicles passing have to be careful. No wonder, the obstacles cause traffic congestion.

Head of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Benard Oktavianus Pasaribu claimed, all this time his party always gets complaints. Hence, he plans to conduct a raid along with related elements.

"We will coordinate it with Satpol PP and Police. Tomorrow, we will raid them," he asserted.
