They will be paid Rp 2.7 million and then cut Rp 200 thousand for BPJS dues. But, we've asked the operator to cover it, thus they will get full wage

According to Sunardi, Head of Parking Technical Management Unit  (UPT) for Jakarta Transportation Department asserted this October, the operator will cover the Social Security Agency (BPJS) dues, instead of parking attendant.

They will be paid Rp 2.7 million and then cut Rp 200 thousand for BPJS dues. But, we've asked the operator to cover it, thus they will get full wage,” he stressed, Thursday (9/24).

TPE Installation in Mangga Besar Supported By Parking Attendant

He acknowledged that since its inception, the wage is fully covered by operator in three pilot locations, namely Jalan Sabang, Jalan Falatehan and Jalan Raya Boulevard Kelapa Gading.

“The wage was never paid by Parking UPT, but operator. We just assist parking attendant for a better future through operator recruiting them in accordance with Procedure Operational Standard (SOP),” he explained.

Actually, the parking attendant were proposed to be paid by double wages. Because of the parking transaction revenue does not meet the target, they merely paid Rp 2.7 million.

“From three parking locations, we just obtain 30 percent. The rest 70 percent is given to the operator for operational cost and paying parking attendant's wage,” he finished.
