As much as 9 sex workers (PSK) were netted from sex worker-prone areas in East Jakarta during a joint operation that was held on Friday (9/25) night until Saturday (9/26) dawn.

Those sex worker-prone areas are Kebon Singkong with 3 persons, Klender with 2 persons and Gate II TMII with 4 persons.

Sadiki stated the operation had involved 50 joint personnel who consist of Social Sub-Department and Garnisun.
The sweeping was started from East Jakarta Mayor office towards Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Klender and Kebon Singkong. And then continued to Jalan Raya Bekasi Timur to Gunung Antang and Gate II TMII.
“Allegedly, our operation was leaked. This is because an area in front of Cipinang Prison that usually used as transaction place was empty. Hence, we will do this optimally without exception,” he asserted.
