12 Sex Workers in Kemayoran Netted

Around 84 joint personnel of Army/Polic, Satpol PP, and local citizens netted 12 sex workers in a raid in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Monday (7/13) dawn. The raid itself was held at Jalan H Benyamin Sueb, Jalan Angkasa, Jalan Garuda and around NAM Center building.

Kemayoran Sub-District Head, Herry Purnama stated those netted sex workers are netted because of many complaints from the locals regarding sex workers who considered very unsettling, especially in Ramadhan.
"In this good month, we just want everything will be going as it is supposed to be," said Purnama, Monday (7/13).

After being netted, the officers then brought them to sub-district office to be recorded and continued to the Bina Insan Bangun Daya 2 Social House in Cipayung, East Jakarta for guidance.
