Various ways to decline waste volume keep being conducted by West Jakarta Administration. One of them is by applying a waste bank.

Cengkareng Sub-District Head, Masud Effendi acknowledged that every urban village head was been instructed to have waste bank.

“My instruction is an obligation. Thus, every urban village in Cengkareng must have waste bank,” he said, Monday (9/28).

Meanwhile, for flat occupants, he stated, he is optimistic such waste program could run well.

“There is no waste bank in Cengkareng Flat, but there has been waste house. Hopefully our program could run well in the near future,” he uttered.

Some time ago, Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat urged local residents to save waste through waste bank in their respective neighborhood.
