Reported by Erna Martiyanti | Translated by Trias Risangayu

ERP had been trialed in Jakarta. Two roads have been installed with ERP gate on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and JL HR Rasuna Said. The gates were installed by Kapsch (Sweden) and Q-Free (Norway).
The first trial was done in July 2014 on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman in front of Panin Bank Building, and second trial was in September 2014 on Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta.
Based on the trial, the devices were able to record license plat of the vehicle. Later on, only vehicle with on board unit (OBU) is able to pass the ERP gate.
