In June 2015, the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) is targeted to be applied along Jalan Sudirman and HR Rasuna Said.

President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo, Budi Karya Sumadi, said the documents of ERP auction is still in process and to be tendered in upcoming March to May.

" Maybe this new project auction will be held in March or May ," said Sumadi, Sunday (1/4).

He added, if the document completion and project auction process is running smoothly as on the target, the implementation of ERP on Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Gatot Subroto can be applied in June.

Until now, continued Sumadi, his side still continues to coordinate with Transportation Department and Directorate of Traffic Metro Jaya Police related the readiness of ERP program in Jakarta.

Besides the issue of the documents completion for the auction process, Budi furthered, ERP implementation is also constrained by conditions on the field which currently narrowed because of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project. Therefore, the ERP program has to be adapted based the conditions on the field. "This issue can be solved by preparing free bus as much as possible on the MRT lane," he added.

However Jakarta Transportation Department Head, Benjamin Bukit confirmed still not sure about the time to apply ERP. It is because the documents are still being processed. "We hope it can be applied this year," he hoped.
