Seribu Islands Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-Department is holding training how to do good fish cultivation to net fishermen in Lancang Island, Pari Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-District.

If they just rely on fish catches, it's not enough, even in bad weather

Pari Island Urban Village, Murta'a said, the training is very beneficial and good for improving fishermen welfare.

"If they just rely on fish catches, it's not enough, even in bad weather," he said, Friday (10/2).

Through the cultivation, fishermen could harvest every 3 months.

"Eventually, they don't only rely on anchovies, crabs and small crabs," he disclosed.
