Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asserted that the takeover of waste management in Bantar Gebang Landfill, Bekasi, West Java, to Bekasi Administration, does not need to wait for the contract with private side expired.

He told, the manager of Bantar Gebang has been neglect, proven with waste fire incident occurred on September 13 ago. The Government has also sent second warning letter to the manager.

"It's no need to wait for the contract expired, if they are default, give them 1st, 2nd, and 3rd means one-sided discontinuation, we evaluate and give warning," he asserted, Tuesday (9/29).

Besides that, he added, the old dump trucks owned by the government could be granted to Bekasi Administration.

"Including the old dump trucks, could be granted to Bek asi Administration," he expressed.
