Public Transport Raid Held in Pulogadung Terminal

Jakarta Transportation Department back to hold public transport raid assisted by Army/Police. This time, the raid was held in Pulogadung Terminal, East Jakarta.

The operation is a part of public transports controlling in Jakarta

Besides checking completeness of vehicle documents, the emission test is also conducted in the joint operation. If serious violation was found, the vehicles would be grounded.

Chief of Traffic Unit Law Enforcement Sub-Directorat for Metro Jaya City Police, AKBP Budiyanto stated as many as 75 joint personnel were involved in the raid.

Cleanliness Operation to Touch Terminals

"The operation is a part of public transports controlling in Jakarta. Besides checking vehicles documents, we will also conduct emission test," he stated, Tuesday (10/13).

Head of Pulogadung Vehicles Motor Test (PKB) for Jakarta Transportation Department, Muslim added, if there are unfeasiblity vehicles operating, they will be ticketed and given a note for being followed-up by the terminal head. As for those vehicles which have incomplete documents will be grounded.

"Currently we're only targeting inner city transportation. Because, all this time most of them are unworthy to operate and having no complete documents," he disclosed.
