October, 4 Rivers in South Jakarta Dredged

Normalization towards 4 rivers that spread in South Jakarta will be complete in the upcoming October. The dredging and expansion of some points to increase water volume reserve when rainy season.

Krukut River has reached 75 percent, Keuangan River 50 percent, Nipah River 90 percent and Pulo River 25 percent, predictably it will be complete this October

Head of South Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Deddy Budiwidodo stated those rivers are Krukut, Keuangan, Pulo and Nipah.

" Krukut River has reached 75 percent, Keuangan River 50 percent, Nipah River 90 percent and Pulo River 25 percent, predictably it will be complete this October ," he stated, Friday (10/2).

According to him, there are also some river that have been dredged. They are Kalibata Atas River, Rawa Bilal River in Tebet and connecting channel in Menteng Pulo.

"Next week there are 3 rivers they are Cideng, Grogol and Kalibaru Barat river in Jagakarsa that will be done and we have allocated the heavy equipment," he disclosed.
