15 Stalls & Carts on Jalan Sunan Ampel Controlled

As many as 15 stalls and carts on Jalan Sunan Ampel, Melawai Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, controlled by Satpol PP officers, Thursday (10/15). It is due to they stand on the sidewalk.

Kebayoran Baru Sub-District Head, Edy Suherman stated, the demolishment was a follow up of citizens complaint and state-owned electricity company (PLN) regarding many street vendors who open their stall on the sidewalk.

"We have given them warning until self-demolishment warrant (SPB) and the deadline is today. That’s why, we do the demolishment," he told, Thursday (10/15).

According to him, his party deployed 30 Satpol PP and 32 Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers from Melawai Urban Village.

"The total officer in the field is 62 personnel consist of Satpol PP and PPSU officers," he disclosed.

Beritajakarta.com observations, the officers demolished those stalls using manual tools such as crowbar and hammer. Then put them to Satpol PP's truck.
