Cemeteries in West Jakarta Keep Being Arranged

West Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department keeps arranging cemeteries area with placarding (plakatnisasi) system. It aims to make uniformity of graves, and neatness and get rid of creepy atmosphere in the cemetery area.

"As many as 1,386 graves in West Jakarta have been installed with placard," said Head of West Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Christian TH, Tuesday (10/20).

Christian told that those thousands graves are spread in 7 public cemeteries in West Jakarta, such as Kapuk, Grogol, Kemanggisan, Semanan, Kepa Duri, Sukabumi Selatan dan Tegal Alur.
"It's only about 10 percent old graves installed with placard. We don't know when all of the graves will be installed," he told.
He uttered, his party will start installing new graves with placard in 2016 using self-manage budget.
