Jakarta Governor thanks to legislators who have supported the executive to implement e-budgeting.

“ Many legislators phoned me to support, some of them have fed up with the old system, as well as new legislators ,” said Ahok at Jakarta City Hall, Friday (3/20).

He expressed that most of the legislators in the 2009-2014 period have not agree and fed up with stealth budget.

However, Ahok was reluctant to mention legislative members’ name who supporting e-budgeting implementation. "If there is no system, they only defame each other. They (unscrupulous legislator) will remain silent if there is stealth budget found. Head of SKPDs will get the impact," he added.

He revealed that Head of Legislative Prasetyo Edi Marsudi will be given a password to monitor e-budgeting.

"If there is strange project or procurement, the city council head will be able to lock it. I can't open as well," Ahok continued.

Ahok  added that that his party has coordinated with the legislative in order to participate to formalizing the program with electoral district urban village and sub-district through e-musrenbang.

“The legislative must participate in e-musrenbang. The citizen's proposal from urban village will be submitted to sub-district. This program will ready in Smart City," Ahok disclosed.
