“Our priority is to set waterway
that connects water channel next to Arion Mall with channel beside BCA
building,” said Ahmad Yazied Bustomi, Head of East Jakarta Water Management
Sub-Department, Monday (10/26).
According to him, the current waterway merely has 2x2 meters that will be widened into 3x3 meters by 15 meters long. The channel depth will also be deepened about 3-4 meters.
“It is expected puddle won’t
inundate Jalan Pemuda anymore,” he disclosed.
