As many as 20 personnel of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department are alerted in Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport to supply water to airplane for extinguishing forest fires.

" Every day, 20 of our personnel supply water to Susi Airplane for extinguishing forest fires in some provinces . They have been alerted for 2 weeks and until undetermined time," said Head of Operational Controlling Section for East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department, Moelyanto, Tuesday (10/27).

Moelyanto told the side of Susi Air provides 2 planes. Each plane contains of 3,000-4,000 liters of water. As for the water shipment number is 5-6 flights per day. The planes are operated by Australian pilot.

"The extinguishing moves as the center government instructed. Today, officer is concentrated in Palembang, previously in Sumedang, Gunung Lawu and some other areas," he disclosed.
