Withdrawal of imported goods that are unfit the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), should pay attention to the small- and medium-scale micro enterprises (UMKM). It is worried, the raid and the withdrawal will harm small peddlers.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama said that small peddlers will be affected in the raid or withdrawal towards unfit imported goods. He proposed tolerance for peddlers under UMKM and give chance to them until deadline is over.

"You (UMKM), please finish your trading first. If not, they will go bankrupt, especially small peddler," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (10/29).

He assessed, such policy is less precise. This is because they have already bought goods and have not profited. "This is surely less precise," he stressed.

He furthered this matter has been issued with Minister of Maritime Coordinating, Rizal Ramli. He hoped, his opinion could also be conveyed to Minister of Trade, Thomas Lembong. Several stores in shopping centers in Jakarta were closed down since its owners worry goods raid labeled SNI.

As known, Ministry of Trade completed 15 rules from de regulation and de-bureaucratization packages, that is the result or the next step in the issuance of the first stage economic policy package by the government some time ago. One is to obligate goods labeled SNI.
