Basuki Supports DPRD's Inquiry Committee Plan

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama supports Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) inquiry committee (Pansus) plans to report Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) related to the case of land purchasing of Sumber Waras Hospital.

“It was their rights. I think this is brilliant idea,” he said at City Hall, Thursday (10/29).

Sadly, he was surprised that because inquiry committee has never exist to investigate some of the findings of state loss for instance, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) purchasing case. In fact, the hospital land purchasing is already attached on city's budget priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA-PPAS).

Land Purchase of Sumber Waras Been Proposed Last May

"The purchase of a scanner, UPS, electronic school management system there aren’t included in KUA-PPAS. The land already bought with price below the NJOP," he uttered.

According to him, NJOP used by city administration is based on zoning defined since 1994 in accordance with database submitted by the Ministry of Finance and the Directorate General of Taxation. In addition, the purchase also in accordance with Law No. 2/2012 on Land Procurement.

In fact, he continued, NJOP used price below appraisal price (estimated price). The total land purchase of Sumber Wars hospital amounted Rp 755 billion. In accordance with appraisal result by market price amounted Rp 904 billion per November 15, 2014. It means purchase value done by City Administration is less than market price.
