Jakarta Provincial Government will build 2 waste processing sites or Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF). Both will be built on the ex-land of compost recycling center (PDUK) in Cakung Cilincing and Sunter, North Jakarta.

Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Department, Isnawa Adji stated that eventually, the development of those ITF will be conducted by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

"The development of ITF on the PDUK's ex-land can be conducted at the soonest 2.5 years ahead. Because there are many things should be prepared such as construction, amdal, the technology, etc," he explained.
As for the development in Sunter, is still being discussed.
"It's on progress. If the assignment letter from the Governor is already issued, next year the groundbreaking of ITF Cacing could be held," he uttered.
