Trash Problems must Be Solved Together

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama (Ahok) states, not only in Jakarta, the Bekasi City Administration also disposes trash into Bantanggebang Landfill. Even, they do not pay the city government.

Bantar Gebang Landfill Cannot Be Closed Down

According to him, trash problems must be solved together. Thus cooperation between local governments could run well. He continued, work contract with PT Godang Tua Jaya (GTJ) as manager of Bantargebang should be disconnected in advance.

"We have to solve trash problem together. Why incinerator continues to question, trash continues to be rampant, we want to solve it together. The key is how can establish cooperation with Bekasi? Surely we have stop contract with PT Godang," he stressed.

To stop the contract, he furthered, the warning letter 1-3 should sent first. PT GTJ also been in default, because do not build a facility with an investment of Rp 700 billion.

"We have to send the warning letter to them thus we could prevail in the court. And warning letter 3 must be set 105 days in total. We wait until January," he finished.
