Water Channel Along Jl Mawar Merah Cleaned

Water channel along Jl Mawar Merah 1-7, RW 08 and 12, Malakajaya Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, was cleaned in communal work participated by 200 joint officers, Sunday (11/8).

So, I instructed East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department to normalize the channel

East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Husen Murad said that the channel was cleaned because it has experienced sedimentation and been full of trash that the water overflows during rainy season.

"So, I instructed East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department to normalize the channel," he told.

Water Channels Prone to Flood in Makasar Cleaned

Malakajaya Urban Village Head, Lidya Naendah told that the communal work involved PPSU, the sectoral section heads both in urban village or sub-district, residents, Water Management Sub-Department, Satpol PP and the other related units.

"The channel's width is also small, it's only about 40 cm and the depth is less than 50 cm. So, it's normal that the water overflowing," she told.
