“I wish PPSU work maximally it to dregde water channel especially in flood prone area,” said Bambang Musyawardhana, East Jakarta Mayor, Wednesday (11/11).
According to him flood prone areas in East Jakarta has decreased significantly from previously 40 points it reduce estimated merely 18 points.
“Flood handling has to be done sistematic and
integrated,” he expressed.
Here are flood-prone
areas which still occure in East Jakarta namely Kampung Pulo, Rawa Terate,
Cakung Barat, Kampung Rambutan, Kampung Dukuh and Cipinang Melayu.
"If flooding still
occur in Kampung Pulo, Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara it is due to sheetpile and
its levee installation unfinished," he finished.
