The Uangan River that located at Jalan Bintaro Permai RT 07/08, Pesanggrahan Urban Village, South Jakarta, cleaned on Monday (11/9).

Head of Cleanliness Section for Pesanggrahan Sub-District, Zubir Maulana conveyed that the cleaning is a routine activity to keep water river flowing smoothly.

“We clean up the river from sediment, grass and plastic due to many residents still littering,” he expressed, Monday (9/11).
He disclosed that his side received many complaints from residents about dirty river. “We certain follow up residents’ complaints to clean it,” he uttered.
To clean up the river, about 20 freelancers of Pesanggrahan Sub-District and two trucks sent to the field.
“The trash itself is dominated by grass, because there is a small island experiencing shallowing,” he finished.
